History

Welcome to my website

How this website came to be

Once upon a time...and so begins the fairy tale and every great story, of which the lives of Brendan Jr and Amelia are surley going to be. Part starry-eyed dream, mixed with the reality of great love, and great learnings, and great care.

On April 14, 2005, many of you opened your email and answered your phones to hear the unbelievable news that Brendan Jr was born 17 weeks too early. You thoughtfully and prayerfully followed his ups and downs and became so intertwined in his life. Brendan Jr began statusing you daily with the whit of a giant-hearted preemie, until he left the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 123 short (LONG) days later.

We continue the updates now, with this webpage after years of planning and development so that you are never left longing for your next Brendan Jr. smile. Uncle Leonard secured this specially named url for Brendan Jr. when he was just a wee bit of a lad, and now we release this website assuredly with Uncle Leonard's angel wings flapping in joyful overtime.

Check in here at your convenience to see all the beauty and grace that continues to unfold in endless smiles and laughter.

A big High 5 to my super cousin David for helping me pull this website together!

Thank you family and friends for all your love and support over all these years.

XOXOXO,

All the McCarthys

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Kwanzaa! Happy Day! Happy Life! Happy Everything!

Thanks for visiting my new website! I'm so glad you dropped by! Please know I would love to have this website fully complete for your first visit, but this will always be a work in progress. I'm a busy kid - school and handing out smiles and high-fives keeps me pretty busy before I ever get around to this part time job of webmaster. Please check back often and I will keep updating you!

Thank you, thank you, to all the "everybuddy" every buddies who have been a part of the adventures and antics of the original Handsome Boy, Brendan Joseph McCarthy, Jr. I hope you enjoy staying in touch with us on my website. It's all about me (Brendan Jr), and my family.

I hope you like this design! I picked it because it represents our dreams fulfilled. When I was born we could only dream, pray, and hope for days where I would smile, laugh, jump, run and play, and that the sun would shine across all our lives and warm us deep within our souls. My beginning in this world was filled with great uncertainty, and we all clung to the only thing we had, which was faith and hope. God has indeed been very good to us all. We could never have dreamed it would be this beautiful.

So what kinds of great things will you find on my website...?

On the lower left in the green box you will find links to my Dad, Mom, and my sister's webpages (and you will have to check back, because they also don't get priority web development! My pages come first and I will work on theirs soon enough). They don't get one with their own names - only Best Selling authors get their own url. At the top you will find links to my blog (my funny little notes to you all will always continue), pictures, the olden day recollections of the NICU, my work with the March of Dimes (remember their research helped save my life!), and then lastly under the FAQs you will find all those little things about me you may have been wondering but were afraid to ask. Down below this message, you find my latest great happenings. Enjoy my page! I made it special for Y-O-U!

Want to be a member of my MUTUAL ADMIRATION SOCIETY? Just click on over here and send me some love, and I will send you some right back. We complement each other so well, so why not compliment each other?

In case no one else has said this to you today, "Have a Marverlous Day! I love you!"

High 5 & Enjoy! Brendan Jr.

Isn't my sister priceless? Gosh I love her. We are one seriously great complement to each other... just like a Reese's Peanut Butter cup! This was a picture of on Easter 2011.
Latest fun happenings

Hot off the wire!

September 17, 2011 --- Brendan lost his first tooth, and it's no where to be found. Tooth fairy paid double anyway.

November 10, 2011 --- Can you believe they had the nerve to pull a perfectly good, second, pizza-eating tooth! Geez! That Dr. Krieger - I'll get his finger when he's not looking next time for that move.
